The epidemic and the health crisis have reminded us that intelligence in the broad sense is not limited to crucial areas, such as the fight against terrorism or nuclear proliferation. But that it has become an issue for all businesses and administrations. And therefore a center of interest for many students who want to make it an object of study or a career opportunity.

In this context, the Institute of Political Studies of Aix-en-Provence ("Sciences Po Aix") launches in September the first academic chair entirely dedicated to intelligence in France. From September, a university certificate will be created, before the launch, expected in 2021, of a specialized master's degree in “intelligence”. Director of Sciences Po Aix, Rostane Mehdi insists on the double aspect of "training and research"
