Last update date: 2020-07-15 14:31The real estate agent was allegedly posted on the back of a plainclothes sergeant and slapped on the back of a plainclothes sergeant during the "with you shop" activity, and was charged with assaulting the police. The case was decided today (15th) in the Kowloon City Court. I don’t know that plainclothes policemen are police officers, and I don’t believe it is an innovative propaganda to post on someone’s back. It is extremely insulting to accuse the defendant to put a poster on the back of the police officer. He was convicted and sentenced to 3 weeks in prison.
The defendant, He Xiaolang (25 years old), was charged with one count of assaulting a police officer. The defendant attacked Sheriff A outside the shop at No. 2417, 2nd floor, Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui on December 24 last year. The accused had been rehabilitated for 31 days since his arrest.
Plainclothes police report pain in back
The case involved the defendant participating in the "with you shop" event on Christmas Eve last year. During the poster on the back of a plain-clothed policeman wearing a black shirt, he patted the policeman on the back. The defendant subdued and arrested, but the original statement posted on the back of the police officer was not recovered after the incident.
When defending himself, the defendant said that putting posters on the backs of others was an innovative propaganda technique. He also pointed out that the victim also wore black clothes and face masks. He did not know that the victim was a police officer.
The official accused the accused of dignified and different from the demonstrators
However, the adjudicator said in the ruling that from the CCTV footage, the victim and all the plainclothes agents present at the scene looked dignified at the scene, which was obviously different from the general demonstrators. He did not believe that the defendant failed to distinguish his identity as a police officer at the scene. Accepting the defendant’s act of putting up posters on the back of others without the prior consent of the defendant is an innovative propaganda technique. He believed that the defendant’s argument was not credible.
