After four months of a historic shutdown on world travel, Richard Quest, Business editor at CNN, has ended his longest streak without being aboard a plane in nearly four decades. He filmed his trip from New York to London this weekend, sharing his observations along the way. Quest found that airports "are not yet on target" when it comes to adapting to social distancing and other coronavirus prevention measures; and he couldn't help but think of the "powerlessness of the airline industry" and the thousands of flight attendants and crew members who could soon lose their jobs. His conclusion is that although "everything is totally different", we will all adapt to the new normality of flying in the days of covid-19.
