Lay people attack the Catholic Church to defend the memory of Father Finet

The fact is rare enough in the ecclesial world to be noticed: the family of a deceased priest, but accused of having touched young girls in a boarding school, as well as an association of former students, revolted by these accusations thirty years after the death of Father Georges Finet (1898-1990), turn, in complementary ways, against the Catholic Church.

The collective of more than a hundred former students notably demands transparency on the "investigation" against them, according to them, which was carried out by a mysterious commission whose composition is kept secret. He asked for the “final report” of the investigation to be released, as only a short “summary” was published on May 7.
