(CNN Spanish) - The Club Atlético Boca Juniors of Argentina reported, through a statement, that Silvio Marzolini, legend of the Argentine club and soccer passed away this Friday at the age of 79.
Marzolini played in Boca Juniors for more than a decade and is considered the player of that team with the most superclassics played, 37 in total.
The left back is remembered for having technically done his entire professional career at Boca Juniors, from 1960 to 1972. With that club he was champion as a player in 1962, 1964 and 1965 and champion as a coach in 1981, when he directed Diego Armando Maradona.
Marzolini wore the Argentina team jersey in the FIFA 62 and England 66 World Cups.
