(CNN Spanish) - A little over a month after activating the third phase of economic reopening of Puerto Rico in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic, Governor Wanda Vázquez signed a decree in which she again ordered the closure of several establishments already authorized to operate. The decree will be effective from July 17 to July 31.

The government reported that based on the trends of the confirmed cases, it is estimated that for the week of August 13, there will be around 5,000 accumulated cases and that from the mathematical models, they infer that the projected trend indicates a sustained weekly increase . As of July 16, the Puerto Rico Department of Health registered 3,119 confirmed cases of coronavirus, 7,455 probable cases, and 172 deaths.

Some of the shops that will have to close their services are gyms, movie theaters, discos, casinos, amusement parks, theaters and bars.
