Taxes on production should drop by 10 billion euros in 2021. A measure of magnitude, since companies paying a total of 74 billion euros in taxes on production each year. " This is five times more than in Germany, " argues the Minister of the Economy.
This reduction in taxation will primarily affect the contribution on the added value of companies (CVAE) and will be " particularly targeted on industry ", according to the Deputy Minister Agnès Pannier-Runacher.

This decrease is in fact aimed at "making our economy more competitive" indicated Agnès Pannier-Runacher last week. "The objective is obviously for it to be sustainable ", in order "to allow our companies to more easily develop industrial activities at a time when you have a relocation movement in Europe".
