ING customers will be able to use the Bizum mobile immediate payment service from the end of this July, as reported by the entity in a statement.
The bank thus expands the payment solutions it offers to its customers, joining the rest of the Spanish entities that have this operational service.
ING has ensured that its objective is to offer the best experience with the development of new digital channels and services that allow it to manage the day-to-day operations of its clients safely.
In the area of payments, the entity considers that it has always maintained an innovative approach. In this sense, it launched Twyp in 2016, an application for customers and non-customers of the bank that introduced instant payments and cash withdrawals for the first time in Spain when buying from associated stores.
Now, with the incorporation of Bizum, ING complements its payment solutions so that its customers have at their disposal a wide range of possibilities.
The director of Daily Banking of ING, Luis González Soto, has assured that this agreement is a sample of the "bet to offer customers the best service".
"Our clients will be able to join Bizum's benefits in an increasingly digital and immediate world, while still enjoying our own digital channels and solutions," he added.
