Relatives and friends said that after graduating from high school, Adi studied for several years at the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education (IVE), and then studied in the construction industry. At about 4 pm yesterday, the Industrial Injury Rights Association was notified by the United Hospital that a 24-year-old male worker surnamed Xu was electrocuted while working on a government building site in Kowloon Bay. After the incident, "Hong Kong 01" enquired with the police, and the police said that they had not received any relevant reports. It was not until the report was published that the police received a report at 7:43 pm. It is understood that the safety officer of the site involved learned that the worker was electrocuted in the afternoon and found that the worker was unconscious, so he notified the Fire Department and an ambulance took the worker to the United Hospital for rescue, but the worker died at 4:41 pm. The incident was reported by the police officer on duty by the United Hospital. The Fire Services Department received a report of discomfort at 3:52 yesterday. A person on Wang Chin Street was unwell and was sent to hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The Workers' Rights Association did not immediately report the incident after the accident, but the practice of calling an ambulance was inappropriate, which was not conducive to law enforcement agencies to investigate the cause of the accident.
