[July 20th] 12 entries signed Guo Weiqiang Guo Weiqiang Mai Meijuan vying for re-election Huang Zhifeng refusal confirmation letter

Members of the Legislative Council of the Federation of Trade Unions, Kwok Wai-keung and Mak Mei-juan, respectively signed up for election in the Legislative Council on Hong Kong Island and New Territories West, seeking re-election. Huang Guojian, a member of the Nine East Legislative Council of the same party, stepped back from the line, and Deng Jiabiao took over and played first, with Lu Songxiong and Huang Guojian carrying the sedan chair. In the same district, there is still a list of five former Wong Tai Sin District Councillors, Li Wing Ho, who succeeded the DAB Ke Chongsheng.

As for the democrats, Huang Zhifeng, the former Secretary General of All-Chief, signed up to run for Kowloon East, but he did not sign a confirmation letter. Four Hong Kong Island candidates, including the Southern District Councillor Yuen Ka-wai, the Central and Western District Councillor Leung Hoang-wai, the Civic Party Cheng Tat Hung, and the Democratic Party Xu Zhifeng, joined forces in a cross-party unconventional form. The first two have signed up and have not signed a confirmation letter.

In terms of functional constituencies, the current legislator and Civic Party Kwok Wing-keng signed up to run for the election; the IT MP Mo Nai-kwong, who is not running for re-election, accompanied the "digital expert" and IT sector election committee Huang Haohua to the Chief Executive to sign up.

[July 18] 18 shortlists including enthusiastic citizens, DAB Zhang Guojun, and "Dragon Heart" signed up for the election 

On the first day of the nomination period, the Returning Officers of 5 geographical constituencies and 29 functional constituencies received a total of 18 nomination forms. In direct regional elections, New Territories West received a list of applications from the current Legislative Council Member and Chairman of the Hot-blooded Citizen Cheng Songtai today. The Hong Kong Island constituency has received three entries, including the DAB Zhang Guojun team, the team of Zhuang Zhiyin and "Four Eyes Brother" Cheng Kamman, who is a passionate citizen, and Deng Weijun, who claimed to be a chef. New Territories East also received three entries, including Tai Po District Council Member Wong Siu-kin who is a passionate citizen, Lin Kelin, who is nicknamed "Dragon Heart", and Chen Yu-e's "Sister E" who has participated in direct elections in New Territories East and other low votes. Li Anqiu, who claimed to be a professional salesperson, also ran for the Kowloon West constituency today as an independent. He is the only list in the district today. In Kowloon East, no one signed up for the election.

In terms of functional constituency elections, a total of 10 lists were received today to participate in 8 constituency elections. Zhang Yuren from the catering industry, Ho Chunxian from the fishermen's and farmers' circles and Liang Jichang from the accounting circles took the lead in signing up today. Xu Lian'an, Chairman of the Securities Industry Association, Yao Boliang, Vice Chairman of China Travel Service, and Zhang Zhiwei, Vice Chairman of the General Foreign Affairs Committee, all attended the meeting to submit nomination forms to compete for seats in the financial services, tourism and social welfare sectors. Deng Fei, the vice chairman of the Federation of Education, and Ye Jianyuan, the vice chairman of the Education Association, and the current member of the Council, also signed up for seats in the education sector on the same day. Lu Weiguo, who is vying for re-election, faces the challenge of Cheng Mingda, who is reported to be an engineer.
