One quarter of one person approves new measures "too loose"

The Hong Kong Research Association successfully interviewed 1,205 citizens aged 18 or above from July 14 to 19 this year. It was found that half of the respondents believed that the government’s tightening of epidemic prevention measures on July 14 was “moderate”, followed by 24% of respondents who thought it was “too loose”, and 11% thought it was “too strict” .

In addition, the survey also found that 91% of the respondents agreed that the government should force citizens to wear masks in public places, while only 6% did not agree. Fifty-eight percent of the respondents agreed that if the epidemic worsens, restaurants should ban all-day dining and only allow takeaways; 24% disagree.
