Another 58% of the respondents agree that restaurants should not eat all-day meals and only allow takeaways.
Earlier, the government distributed 10,000 yuan to the whole people. The Hong Kong Research Association pointed out that nearly 60% of the people would increase their consumption because they received 10,000 yuan; 67% of the respondents expressed satisfaction with the relevant arrangements.

One quarter of one person approves new measures "too loose"
The Hong Kong Research Association successfully interviewed 1,205 citizens aged 18 or above from July 14 to 19 this year. It was found that half of the respondents believed that the government’s tightening of epidemic prevention measures on July 14 was “moderate”, followed by 24% of respondents who thought it was “too loose”, and 11% thought it was “too strict” .
In addition, the survey also found that 91% of the respondents agreed that the government should force citizens to wear masks in public places, while only 6% did not agree. Fifty-eight percent of the respondents agreed that if the epidemic worsens, restaurants should ban all-day dining and only allow takeaways; 24% disagree.

Regarding the government’s 10,000 yuan cash distribution plan, the survey showed that 57% of the citizens said that they “will definitely” and “most will” increase their consumption due to the receipt of 10,000 yuan, while saying that “most will not” and “will definitely not” "The total accounted for 35%. Another 67% of the respondents expressed satisfaction with the relevant arrangements, and 20% expressed dissatisfaction.
The Hong Kong Research Association called on the SAR government to actively assist the digital transformation of local enterprises, drive citizens to switch to online consumption, balance epidemic control and stimulate the economy, so as to help local enterprises overcome the epidemic and find a new way for Hong Kong's economic transformation.
