The official Syrian news agency (SANA) announced that air defense systems were operating tonight (Monday) in the Damascus area against "hostile targets".
There are reports of explosions in the sector. There have been several attacks in the Syrian region recently, some of which have been attributed by the local media in the country to Israel.
About three weeks ago, the Syrian Center for Human Rights reported that six members of pro-Iranian militias were killed in an attack in the east of the country.
