What would have happened if in a democratic state it had been revealed that the police had joined the general prosecution in an attempt to incriminate a democratically elected prime minister, and already during the first court hearing this conspiracy had been exposed? What would happen if we heard about a democratic state, where the police deliberately blacken the part that might incriminate them, and then submit the blackened protocols in court? And what would we think of a country where the Attorney General has found no flaw in an investigation designed to oust a witness and dubb him a liar against the prime minister? And if he did not find a defect, then why did the police blacken the traces from the protocols?

Would we think that this is still a democratic state? It may be so, because even in democracies there are messy corruption scandals within law enforcement systems. But what would we call a country where the thing was exposed in court, and yet no news outlet mentions this earthquake? Not even implicitly, not even after the forecast. And are we laughing at North Korea's submissive news presenters? The truth is that we are not North Korea, but in one sense our situation is worse - here the deceptive democracy is the opium for the masses.

The citizens of Israel believe in the false democratic representation, because the government and its leader are constantly attacked by the "watchdogs of democracy". What they do not know is that the totalitarian, corrupt, fascist-hued characteristics (how else can one call a country where the police produce a coup d'état against an elected leader) are not in Balfour, but in the law enforcement system.

And this is even more serious than it seems, because one would think that the Israeli media is evading, obscuring, concealing or hiding the crimes committed here to incriminate a prime minister, but that is not the story here.

This week, Rina Matzliach interviewed the opposition chairman and told him almost inadvertently that it is impossible to say that Benny Ganz did not do important and good things in the government. Fact is, he prevented the attempt to investigate the judges' conflicts of interest. Israel and the Supreme Court in particular have indeed sinned in a conflict of interest, lying when asked about it and caught lying - in what universe is it considered good to obscure it? Why did Rina succeed in placing the absolute protection of these judges as a commendable achievement? Resisting police lies and manipulations is only a right-wing interest? Is the pursuit of proper, moral and ethical legal systems a bug in the right-wing feature? And what about the left? Which prevents her interrogation.

The police, the prosecutor's office and the judges can continue on their own, the media will take care to conceal evidence from the citizens of Israel, and will also be proud of it as if it were about.
