A 48-year-old lawyer has been missing for a week and his family claims that he was kidnapped and tortured to steal a large sum of money.

Salvador Altamura was last seen on the afternoon of Monday, July 13, when he left his apartment located on May 25 to 200, in the center of Quilmes, to go for a walk with a friend.

After doing physical activity, the lawyer said goodbye to his friend and returned to his home on a motorcycle. However, he never managed to enter: according to what can be seen in the security cameras of the building, Altamura passed by the door of the place at 18.06 and slowed down as if to enter the garage, but then accelerated -as if he had seen something- and left . That is the last image of him.

A few moments later, a stranger arrived at the building with the lawyer's motorcycle, entered the apartment without forcing anything and, after spending an hour and a half inside, left.

Altamura has a 12-year-old daughter.

Sandra, aunt of the missing man, assured in a dialogue with TN that her nephew was " kidnapped and tortured " because the department lacks a "significant sum of money."

After the complaint, the Police entered the department and found an open safe , with no money inside. Apparently, the person who opened it had the key, because it was not violated. "To open the box you need a special key and there is a copy that is in the same place where my nephew left it," said the woman, who suspects that the criminal tortured Altamura to give her the keys.

Neighbors from Villa Itatí saw the motorcycle, but the Police only found the helmet.

In the place there was nothing messed up and they even found an intact computer and other valuables. The lawyer's phone is turned off from a few minutes after he left with the motorcycle.

A few hours later, residents of Villa Itatí alerted that the motorcycle, a red Honda CFR , was in the neighborhood, but when the police went looking for it, they only found the helmet.

Following data from the villagers, two raids were carried out on two houses, with a negative result. "My nephew is not in anything unusual. He lives alone and has a 12-year-old daughter who needs answers," said Sandra, who is looking for information on the victim's whereabouts.
