Juan, the owner of the Muglia shoe store, from Membrillar to 100, in Flores, already knew him . The man, in his 60s, had previously ordered a pair of boots and wore loafers made by that business, which has been in the area for more than 60 years.

So when she saw him at the door this Thursday at noon, she did not hesitate: she opened the gate, the glass and let him pass to deliver the ordered boots. Everything had been planned . The alleged client just wanted to steal from him .

But the robbery did not go as planned by the criminal. After struggling with the owner of the premises, after shooting him in the hand and throwing him against a display case, the criminal fell to the ground and died .

This is how Clarín, who was close to Juan, the owner of the business, entrusted what happened in the last hours in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Flores with a well-known shoe store, founded in 1940 and which manufactures handmade shoes.

Police sources indicated that everything began in the shoe store of Membrillar 25, when the alleged client showed up at the premises, which has a gate and a glass door , both closed. And that he had reopened his activity in this new phase of quarantine.

The owner recognized him because he had already ordered boots for him and said he was coming to get them . And then, he opened it and let him pass to deliver the order.

But the customer pulled out a long .32 caliber revolver and showed his true intentions: to steal from him .

"The owner of the business, in his 40s, said to him: 'I give you everything I have in the box,' " according to what Juan, a father of a girl, said.

However, both began to struggle. “The thief had incredible strength, and in the struggle he shot him in the hand . Then he said, ' I'm going to kill you ... '. And he threw it against a showcase that was broken, ”was the account made by the victims' relatives.

But instead of shooting him, the criminal "fell to the floor and died," they explained from the environment of the victim.

Police sources reported that he was beaten in the struggle, but that the cause of death will be determined by autopsy .

Then, the City Police arrived at the scene and SAME, which confirmed the death of the thief, whose body was in the area of ​​access to the premises and " found no injuries to justify the death ."

Sources indicated that inside the jacket, the dead criminal was found " a razor , and in a cloth bag, four black seals ."

The thief had no identification, although they speculate that he is a man in his 60s.

Now, the owner of the store was referred to the Piñero hospital to be treated for the shot he received in the left hand, with an entrance and exit wound, and the blows, mainly to the face.
