After blue and white support for a law banning conversion therapies - will the ultra-Orthodox break the tools? Shas members have left the Knesset plenum, and will not vote until further notice, after the law was passed today (Wednesday) in the Knesset plenum in a preliminary reading, thanks to blue and white support.

The other ultra-Orthodox factions are also angry with Bnei Gantz's party, but also did not spare criticism from the Likud. The Minister of Construction and Housing, Yaakov Litzman (Torah Judaism), said: "The bad conduct of blue and white in contrast to coalition discipline is a challenge to the political partnership with them in this way. The Likud must decide whether it knows how to run a coalition or lose itself politically."

MK Moshe Gafni (Torah Judaism): "We will not cooperate with Blue and White. But the Likud rule is also equal to the villages, where was Prime Minister Netanyahu? Why did Amir Ohana vote in favor? "We are considering our steps."

Deputy Education Minister Meir Porush (Torah Judaism): "If the Likud is unable on such an issue of principle for the ultra-Orthodox public to mobilize the majority against, it loses itself in knowledge."

Even before the dramatic vote, the alternate prime minister, defense minister and blue-and-white chairman wrote on Twitter in the minutes leading up to the vote that “conversion therapies were born in sin, and their place is outlawed. That is why today we will vote in favor of the law and against conversion therapies. That's what we came for. We promised and cleaned it. That's the right thing to do. "

A senior official in blue and white told Israel Today that "the days when blue and white serve as a tail for Likud decisions are over." His remarks came in the wake of recent criticism of the Blue and White Party, which is afraid to make political moves that are inconsistent with the Likud's position, for fear of Netanyahu. The senior in blue and white also said in the wake of the unflattering polls for the party which are now on under ten seats that "in blue and white understand at any moment that every vote is sensitive and can lead to elections".

Justice Minister Avi Nissenkorn wrote on Twitter after the Knesset vote: "No one needs conversion. Straights and LGBT people, you are just as good as you are."
