US President Donald Trump is holding a briefing this morning (Wednesday) on the White House on the issue of the corona plague in the United States, after months of refraining from holding the briefings, and warned that the plague situation will worsen before it improves.

"The situation will probably and unfortunately worsen before it gets better," the president said, adding that "if you watch American television, you might think we are the only country suffering from the Chinese virus." This is a significant change in the president's attitude towards the virus, having so far chosen to focus mainly on the challenges of reopening the economy and getting economic life back on track.

Trump also surprised when he called on the public to wear a mask and said, "Whether you like face masks or not, they are effective. I myself get used to the mask." The president has been seen wearing a public mask only once since the epidemic began, during a meeting with senior White House military officials. Many saw the president's silence on the issue of masks as support for the major movement in the United States that opposes the obligation to wear a mask.

Trump ended his remarks by referring to the development of the modern company's vaccine, saying, "The vaccines are coming and they are sooner than anyone could have expected." Modern Company is expected to begin a mass trial next week among 30,000 volunteers that will mark the final stage of its vaccine development for corona disease.

Nearly 145,000 people have died from coronary heart disease in the United States in the past five months, and more than four million Americans have been infected with the virus. The virus has been on the rise in recent days in the states of Florida, Texas, Arizona and California.
