Trump signed the "Hong Kong Autonomy Law" and an executive order on July 14 in response to Beijing's implementation of the "Hong Kong National Security Law", announcing the cancellation of the preferential treatment for Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport holders compared to Chinese passport holders.
