Hong Kong Telecom launches "One Card One Care" to donate local mobile data to help grassroots students, the elderly

Hong Kong Telecom (6823) launched the "One Card, One Care" local mobile data donation campaign. From now on, citizens can make pledges at Hong Kong Telecom, csl or 1O1O specialty stores, and Club Like online shopping platforms, with a pledge of HK$20 each

Hong Kong Telecom (6823) launched the "One Card, One Care" local mobile data donation campaign. With immediate effect, citizens can make pledges at Hong Kong Telecom, csl or 1O1O specialty stores, and Club Like online shopping platforms. For every HKD 20 pledged, Hong Kong Telecom will provide beneficiaries with a 15GB 4G local mobile data card worth 148 yuan .

In order to thank the donors for their support, for every 20 yuan pledged, the donor will receive a 20 yuan Club Like shopping coupon, unlimited times. If the donor pledges over 100 yuan, existing csl or 1O1O customers can get 15GB of local mobile data recharge once, while non-csl or 1O1O customers can get a 15GB 4G Club Sim.

Citizens can make pledges at Hong Kong Telecom, csl or 1O1O specialty stores, and Club Like online shopping platforms. For every HK$20 pledged, Hong Kong Telecom will provide beneficiaries with a 15GB 4G local mobile data card worth 148 yuan. (Provided by the company)

The beneficiaries of the operation include grassroots students, the elderly and the homeless/unemployed. Donors can choose the beneficiary institutions and schools to receive donations, including Principal Chen’s free tuition world, five primary and secondary schools including Chung Shing College, Chinese YMCA Primary School, Delia Sisters Memorial School (Secondary Section), Fresh Fish Trading School, Fujian Overseas Chinese Primary School; Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Association, Methodist Yang Zhen Social Service Office; and ImpactHK and Kai Ai Inclusive Fund Co., Ltd.

Hong Kong Telecom Managing Director Xu Hanqing said that Hong Kong Telecom has always been committed to caring for the community. We hope to gather the strength of all Hong Kong citizens to take action to care for the young, the elderly and other disadvantaged groups, and to closely connect the society with technology.
