Mexico recorded Thursday, July 23, 8,438 new cases of coronavirus contamination in 24 hours, a record figure for this country since the start of the epidemic at the end of February, according to figures communicated by the Secretariat of Health.

The country already has 370,712 confirmed cases and 41,908 deaths, including 718 in the past 24 hours, according to these official figures. Mexico is the fourth country with the most deaths in the world, behind the United States, Brazil and Great Britain.
