Viviana Canosa spoke in her program this Thursday of the Channel 9 statement after her harsh response to President Alberto Fernández.

On Wednesday, the driver mentioned radio statements from the previous day where she had said that she received messages on the phone from the president questioning her criticism of the government.

He said that due to the situation he was afraid ("It was the State against me") and asked Fernández "not to abuse" his power. "I can look you in the eye, I don't know if you can do the same with me," he remarked.

Consequently, the channel issued a tweet this Thursday where it clarified: "In the face of journalistic inquiries received, Channel 9 reports that it has not received any type of government pressure . It also ratifies its commitment to democratic values and respect for the diversity of opinions "

At the beginning of his cycle, Canosa explained: "The press called me but I couldn't do it with everyone. As a result of all that, they called the channel to ask the authorities about what I had said. The channel tweeted something. It seemed very good , but it seems that many journalists did not, so I responded to the tweet. "

And he showed his response on the social network, where he stated: "I want to make it clear that the pressures I received were directed against me . It is true that @ canal9oficial was not the recipient, although it is evident that #NadaPersonal is broadcast in # ElNueve. I was never censored by the authorities. I enjoy freedom of expression. "
