Last Monday, the Truckers union and the company started the negotiation under the gaze of the Ministry of Labor , but soon it was left without the "protection" of the labor portfolio, since it only intervened to start the meeting

The strongest dispute had started on Thursday, July 16 over the affiliation of workers, which generated a new fight between the Truckers union and Mercado Libre, when the company  denounced the blockade of five of its distribution centers , located in Munro, Villa Alsina Lanús, Sarandí and Parque Patricios, by workers from the guild led by the Moyano family.

The bid is for 1,300 employees who work in the Villa Madero storage center, in southern Conurbano, and who are affiliated with the Union of Loading and Unloading Workers. The Moyano pretend that they are affiliated with Truckers.

Loading and Unloading is commanded by Daniel Vila, a leader who is part of the Blue and White CGT and who is aligned with Luis Barrionuevo .

The president of Mercado Libre Argentina, Juan Martín De la Serna had told Clarín at that time that in the affected distribution centers about 5,000 employees are now affiliated with the truckers' union.

For his part, this Saturday the secretary general of the Banking Association (AB), Sergio Palazzo , assured that the leaders of the Truckers' union, Hugo and Pablo Moyano, were "almost demonized and demonized" for carrying out "a union protest".

"I am not going to analyze the issue of the framing of the firm's personnel because there are mechanisms to settle the issue. They were accused of extortionists and blackmailers and of attempting against employment. Isn't it blackmail that Marcos Galperín, owner of Mercado Libre, threatens to go to another country if the privileges are taken away? The pressure is not measured the same, " said the leader .
