New government, last step. The names of the 11 Secretaries of State, expected for several days, were announced this Sunday evening, three days before the Council of Ministers which is to meet in full for the first time. That of the High Commissioner for Planning should be known a little later.
These 11 names, of which only six are newcomers including five deputies, are added to the 30 ministers and the spokesperson, a team that was unveiled on July 6. The first government of Jean Castex, is therefore now complete, more than three weeks after the appointment of the Prime Minister, on July 3.
Here is the list of those who remain:
- Sophie Cluzel, Secretary of State in charge of disabled people
- Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, in charge of Tourism, French people abroad and La Francophonie
- Cédric O, in charge of Digital Transition and Electronic Communications
- Laurent Pietraszewski, in charge of pensions and occupational health;
