In a new edition of the Journalism for All Box program (thirteen), the journalist Jorge Lanata focused this new edition on a report on the increase in insecurity in much of the Greater Buenos Aires and the City of Buenos Aires and the new appearance of crime: more violent, in the same neighborhoods where criminals and victims who are caught on the street live. And the reaction begins to take place in the worst way: with justice by their own hands and armed neighbors.

In the broadcast on Sunday, July 26, Lanata toured the so-called "hot zones" of greater Buenos Aires and interviewed protagonists of the police news from last week, such as Rafael Lezcano , the sodero who defended a woman who was assaulted by two motorcycle jets; o Noemí Gómez , the young woman who suffered a violent theft of the cell phone for which she was left with a fractured tibia and fibula that will leave her at least one year unable to walk.

Also, the program showed two groups of neighbors who, in Lanús and La Matanza, met and organized to patrol the streets at night and chase thieves. " If we catch someone and he behaves well, we hand him over to the police. Otherwise, we club him ," said one of the interviewees. In the second case, however, the testimony of a woman who referred to a parade displayed in Isidro Casanova was shown: " Tracker. If you come to the neighborhood to steal, forget it. We do not call the police. We make arrangements between us ."

"After all that we are seeing, it is clear that this is an urgent problem. When I say that it is not time to talk about a modification of the Federal Justice, I am saying that. Please, go out on the street, look at the street and prioritize the things. Nor is it time to discuss between provinces. We are changing the quarantine bars for the insecurity fence, "said Lanata.

Before the report, the program began with its classic monologue of every Sunday, which in this case was dedicated to the inmates within the ruling party entitled "El Día del Fuego Amigo". First, he referred to the dispute between the security ministers: Sergio Berni, from the province of Buenos Aires, and Sabina Frederic, from the Nation. The second fight that Lanata detailed was that of Felipe Solá and Alicia Castro, due to the political situation in Venezuela. While the first stressed that the country lived in a dictatorship, the second, who had ties to Hugo Chávez, contradicted him.

Later he spoke about the blooper committed by the television host Nara Ferragut, who during the week confused the name of the President, whom Alberto Fernández de Kirchner called. Before that, Lanata, with humor, wondered if this was not really the truth to explain that " now he will have a fight with Cristina for silver (the inheritance of money K) and not for power."

Both the monologue and the subsequent comment was within the framework of the television game that Lanata performs with "the little soldiers". President Alberto Fernández, Vice Cristina Kirchner, Kicillof, Ginés González García, Berni and Radio Miter journalist Marcelo Longobardi, who was a grandfather and still could not meet his grandson, returned among those who have a prominent and permanent place.

Then she said that during the next few days Alberto will send the Judicial Reform Law to Congress: "They want to appoint 34 new judges related to the government. For that, they will create a commission and in it will be Cristina's lawyer, Carlos Beraldi. Guess what he is going to vote for? " he said and left the question hanging.

At the end of the monologue and before starting the report, the journalist spoke about the measures taken by Morón's mayor, Lucas Ghi. Who, they say, raised taxes by 25 percent amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"In January they had approved another 50 percent increase. Parallel to that, the Ari Civic Coalition denounced that the municipality spent 51 million pesos in propaganda between March and July. 80 percent in national media," he said. Then the journalist revealed some of the media where the municipality contributed money: "6 million on América TV; 4.5 million on Crónica TV; 2.5 million on Telefé; 2 million on Ámbito Financiero; 2 million on C5N", among others .

Like all programs, it ended with the designation of "El boludo de la semana", a rating that was given to Ginés González García, the Minister of Health who was disavowed by Alberto Fernández under the cystic fibrosis law. Before, likewise, he gave the title "boludo honorary" to Juan José Méndez, the Secretary of Transportation of the city of Buenos Aires, who went out to run with his boss, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, on a day that, due to his number of DNI, did not correspond.
