56 confirmed cases were related to family and friends gatherings. Regarding the residential homes, a caregiver at the Jie Kang Home of the Fu Hong Society in Tuen Mun confirmed the diagnosis. This is the 2685th case. The center has distributed sample bottles for other employees. However, the residents are severely disabled and it is more difficult to take samples.

Earlier, a resident of Tai Po Kang Wo Nursing Center was diagnosed after staying for one night. The protection center sent sample bottles to the resident and staff. The test results were all negative, but not everyone had submitted samples. Later, another resident who lived in the same area was unwell. He was diagnosed after admission, the 2695th case. The center has sent personnel to inspect the site in the afternoon, and it is not ruled out that residents will be arranged for quarantine.

In addition, a nurse at the Baozhong Quanying Home for the Elderly in Fanling Tung Wah Group of Hospitals has confirmed the diagnosis. This is the 2698th case. All people in the hospital need to be tested.

There were 13 new confirmed cases in the Golden Branch of the Kang Wo Nursing Centre in Tuen Mun Sun Hui. A total of 3 carers and 21 residents were diagnosed.
