An investigation for intentional homicide was opened after the discovery Sunday evening in Colmar of a homeless 82-year-old who died, the prosecution said Tuesday (July 28).

" An 82-year-old man, homeless, was discovered deceased Sunday, July 26, 2020 shortly after 10 p.m. in the town of Colmar, near agricultural land, " detailed the prosecution in a statement.
" The Colmar prosecutor's office ordered an autopsy and opened an investigation for intentional homicide, entrusted to the regional directorate of the judicial police, Mulhouse branch, in order to determine the circumstances of the death, " the statement added without further details.
