With the advancement of the times and the rapid development of technology, citizens can meet with doctors remotely as long as they hold smart phones without leaving home. Today (July 29) Dr Go announced at a press conference that the Hong Kong Yi Hospital and Hong Kong Telecom have cooperated in the development of Hong Kong’s first one-stop remote medical video consultation service Dr Go, which will officially land in Hong Kong on August 3 Citizens can make appointments for "seeing doctors" through the platform, and both parties can meet by video call, and doctors can make diagnosis based on the patient’s description of the disease. Doctors prescribe medicines, issue doctor's certificates and referral letters, and can also courier them to the user's designated address within four hours.

Now that the severity of the new coronary pneumonia has once again sounded the alarm, and the medical burden is facing a "burst" situation, connecting the medical system with technology can alleviate the urgent need. The Hong Kong version of the video consultation service will be launched soon, called "Doctor on the go". Citizens can choose doctors to use the remote video consultation service through the Dr Go app to alleviate the situation of implosion in public hospitals and shorten the waiting list of patients Time also reduces the risk of cross-infection during consultation.

Wu Yonghao, managing director of Hong Kong Telecom’s personal client business, pointed out that Dr Go’s consultation process is simple and convenient. After filling in the information and passing the identity verification, users can select the doctor on duty to make an appointment on the app and pay for the appointment first, and then wait for the appointment. Like a consultation. After the consultation is completed, the user needs to pay the end of the consultation, and the dispatcher will send a sealed bag containing medicines, sick leave paper, etc. to the user to fill in the address within four hours. The user can choose to destroy the filled information after diagnosis. In the application, there will be recordings of checking medication instructions, consultation records and payment records, etc., and users can check them at any time.

DrGo's service hours will be from 9 am to 8 pm (Monday to Friday); from the end of August, it will be extended to 8 am to 8 pm (Monday to Sunday, including public holidays). Consultation service charges range from HK$398 to HK$450, including doctor’s consultation fee, three-day essential medicines and one-time free drug delivery service.
