The authorities mentioned that criminals used the epidemic to defraud, including fake companies or charitable organizations, and even the websites of government departments, to defraud individuals, companies, and government agencies. Among them, the elderly were the main targets. There is no such thing as personal protective equipment fraud. At least 53 people have been arrested.
