A young man who worked in his parents' supermarket in the hotel area of ​​Eilat hung a sign "Unknown to the police" and angered the police and security forces. This morning (Wednesday) the suspect was questioned and at the end of the investigation he was released on limited terms. The investigation into the incident continues.

As you may recall, the incident took place on Tuesday, when a police officer on vacation who was without a uniform entered a supermarket, noticed a sign and asked the seller why the sign was hung. 

After identifying as a police officer, the young man asked him to leave the writer, claiming that he was against police officers who used violence against civilians in demonstrations. The policeman called municipal inspectors to the scene and when they arrived, they began to confront the young man.

The seller's father, the owner of the supermarket who was called to the scene, hurried to take down the sign and apologized to the police and inspectors. The father later arrived at the police station in Eilat and apologized again on behalf of his son for the silly sign he said hung without his knowledge.

The police said: "The Israel Police considers the material to be an act of discrimination that is illegal against any person and in this case against members of the security forces and Israeli police officers and will work to exhaust the law and eradicate any such act."
