After the era of thermal power stations, after the opprobrium cast on nuclear power, wind turbines appeared, white, slender, innumerable. Soon, they covered France, massively: the expression "field of wind turbines" says it well enough.

Today, there are hardly any installation projects that do not meet with strong opposition. Resistance does not necessarily take a spectacular form, but appeals are multiplying, filed by resolute associations: the impression of excess is general, and residents are overwhelmed.
