The demonstration comes after the announcement by Alberto Fernández and the rejection of Juntos por el Cambio, which in a statement opposed the reform.

"We oppose the increase in the number of members of the Supreme Court, it must be a stable institution over time," affirmed the leaders of the opposition, Mauricio Macri, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, María Eugenia Vidal, Patricia Bullrich, Cristian Ritondo and Humberto Schiavoni for the PRO, Alfredo Cornejo, Mario Negri, Luis Naidenoff and Martín Lousteau for radicalism, Maximiliano Ferraro, Juan López and Maricel Etchecoin for the Civic Coalition and the Peronist Miguel Pichetto.

" The stability of the highest court is a value in itself, which safeguards the independence of the Judiciary, legal certainty and ultimately the democratic quality and the institutions of our Republic," was drafted at the beginning.
