In the sensitive period of today's "Big DQ", the newly reported names are particularly eye-catching. Many of them are closely related to DQ persons or persons at high risk of DQ. For example, Hong Kong Island candidate Li Yuxin is a member of the Civic Party. He was a candidate for the District Council (second) functional constituency commonly known as the "Super District Council" in the primary election, but he lost in the primary election. The party mate Zheng Dahong who was elected to Hong Kong Island today was DQ, and Li Yuxin signed up to participate in Hong Kong Island on the same day.

In addition, Hong Kong Island Liang Huangwei and Yuan Jiawei were both DQ, while Yang Zijun and Lai Qiwen signed up today, which is exactly the same as the number of teams being DQ.

The Civic Party Li Yuxin (second from left) ran for the Super District Council during the pan-democratic primary election. On the same day his party mate Zheng Dahong (first from left) was elected by DQ, Li Yuxin signed up for election on Hong Kong Island. (Profile picture)

In the New Territories West, the district councillor Chen Shuhui, community officer Feng Xiaoyan and district councillor Wang Bimin, who also cooperated in local affairs, formed a team today. .

In the East of the New Territories, He Guilan and Yang Yueqiao were both DQed, while the former chairman of the CUHK Student Union and District Councillor Chen Jialin both signed up on the same day, which just filled the number of DQ teams.

The non-establishment faction has stated earlier that it will consider arranging for Plan B registration. Many people who had not participated in the primary election before suddenly signed up in the last few days. It is inevitable that some people will be considered as Plan B candidates.
