For the pan-democrats, the political circle is concerned about whether the pan-democratic primary elections held earlier will need to be re-listed next year.
Former Legislative Council Member Ou Nuoxuan, who was responsible for the coordination of the primary elections of the democrats, said that all camps within the democrats agree that coordinating the election list is the basic condition for achieving the greatest victory. If the list enters next year’s election, there is no need to coordinate the election list in other ways.

However, he believes that the government's wishful thinking to exchange time for the reversal of public opinion will not work. He believes that even if the government sends money, it will not buy people's support, and the public's support for the government will not change substantially.
Ou Nuoxuan also believes that since the anti-revision movement, the government has been delaying in various ways in exchange for time, hoping that public opinion will be reversed. However, he believes that the nature of the political contradictions that have always existed in society will not change. Living in purgatory will not become identified with purgatory after a year.
