The plan to nationalize the agro-industrial group failed from the first minute. Only the hardest Kirchnerism celebrated the project, and even did it moderately.

" I was wrong about the Vicentin issue because I believed that the crisis situation was much more assumed, and that when I announced that the State was going to help recover the company, they were all going to party , because we were recovering a very important company in Argentina " That was said by Alberto Fernández on July 13 in a radio interview, when more than a month had passed since the publication of the DNU that the company intervened to expropriate.

Strictly speaking, when the President made that admission, it was also more than a month ago that it was clear that the whole matter had been a mistake , because the plan to nationalize the cereal company failed from the first minute .

The first to oppose the President's idea was the governor of Santa Fe, Omar Perotti. Through the statements of a minister, he made it known that he did not support the expropriation , although he did expect the State to intervene in the company, which was in the initial stages of a very complex bankruptcy, under the supervision of Judge Fabián Lorenzini, from Reconquista. .

The Congress also advised the President that there were not enough votes in the Chamber of Deputies to pass an expropriation law.

All this happened while Judge Lorenzini displaced the national controllers of the management of the company and replaced the company's board of directors instead, and people marched in Santa Fe and in many other cities in the country to protest the expropriation attempt.

Among businessmen, the idea quickly became proof that the President embraced the nationalizing vocation of the main leaders of Kirchnerism , which generated additional concern because today there are thousands of companies across the country on the verge of bankruptcy.

That feeling had started to move strongly among employers since May, when deputy Fernanda Vallejos proposed that the State keep the actions of companies that received official help to pay wages.

In the face of such an adverse context, the President himself began to detach himself from his original idea when he accepted that Perotti's plan to put Santafesino auditors to run the company and for a trust to be implemented, something that the judge also ruled out.

After that, all that remained was to put the signature on a painting that had been painted by reality itself.
