In the United States, in the state of Georgia, 600 people including 346 children have followed one another in a vacation center and half have tested positive for the virus.

From June 17, the atmosphere was fun, games and collective songs. The children slept in " cabins accommodating up to 26 people ". Only, on June 23, a few days after the start of the camp, a supervisor left the summer camp after feeling chills the day before. He then tested positive for coronavirus. Little by little, the symptoms spread, 260 young people tested positive and were sent home. On June 27, the center closes its doors.
Mild symptoms
Among those infected, 74% had mild symptoms such as fever, headache and sore throat. The others had no symptoms.

For the authors of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC) report, this data adds to growing evidence " showing that children of all ages are susceptible to infection with Sars-CoV-2 and , unlike the first information, could play an important role in the transmission ”.
Non-compliance with health standards
The Center for the Prevention and Fight against Diseases (CDC) publishes in its report that certain local health rules were not respected, such as wearing a fabric mask and systematically ventilating the premises.
In France, collective reception of minors is authorized on condition of wearing a mask when preparing meals, respecting a social distance of one meter and playing games in small groups not exceeding 15 children.
