Among the demonstrators in Jerusalem were also activists of the Peace Now movement, who shouted: "Incitement begins in the corridors of the government." Some of the demonstrators wrote on the road using chalk: "The state of us all and for all of us," "Bibi will resign," "Bibi Netanyahu to Maasiyahu prison." The demonstrators carried signs that read: "Go to jail", "Fail - home", "There is one culprit". Among other things, a group of mothers demonstrated at the venue, chanting - "Enough violence."

The "Black Flags" movement stated that "for a demonstration in Balfour, a march through the streets of Jerusalem that will return to the defendant's house is also approved." The movement added that they had approached the acting commissioner, Superintendent Moti Cohen, demanding that the protesters' peace be maintained.

Protest in Tel Aviv as well

Police were also preparing for a protest on Saturday night at Charles Clore Park in Tel Aviv. The forces are deployed in several security circles, and will be responsible for maintaining public order and flowing traffic in the area.

"The police, together with the organizers of the protest, coordinated expectations in advance and regulated the conditions of the protest so that public order would be maintained and the necessary conditions would be observed, with an emphasis on the threat of the corona virus," the police statement said. It was further clarified in the announcement that no procession will be allowed during the protest, "this is because no request was made for a procession and no coordination was made with the police. Such a procession, as it arises, will be illegal and the responsibility is on the protest organizers. It will be examined on the merits. "

The statement added that "the police were mobilized in large numbers to allow the protest and allow all participants to express their pain and make their voices heard. At the same time, the police will not allow a situation of rioting, harming police officers, harming property and unrestrained anarchy."

Protests at bridges and intersections across the country

Citizens and citizens of the "Black Flags" movement demonstrated across the country today, calling on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resign. Other Israelis in various parts of the world, including Berlin and the United States, are protesting in solidarity with the protesters in Israel.

Police said that on Road 34, three suspects were sprayed with water spray on protesters who were standing at the Sderot junction. "Police officers who were nearby identified the vehicle with the suspects - and within seconds arrested them at the Sha'ar Hanegev intersection. The three, residents of Be'er Sheva in their 20s, were detained and taken for questioning by the Sderot police."

Police intervention was also required at another hotline - Ashkelon Junction. Police said that "at the Ashkelon North junction a suspect was arrested who entered and stood with the protesters and at one point started spitting at them, shouting and cursing them. Police officers who were at the scene detained the suspect, but he continued to curse and riot - and was finally arrested. This is a young man in his 20s. For investigation by the Ashkelon police. "

At Bilu Junction, a screwdriver was thrown at young women who were demonstrating as part of the "black flags" protest. One of them, a 17-year-old, was very lightly injured. Police arrived at the scene.

The decisions are in the government, the laws are in the Knesset, the change is in the street. Tonight, it is mandatory to show up at demonstrations - in squares, streets, intersections, bridges. The house in Balfour must be vacated. We're at war over the house. A must win !!!

MK Yair Golan from Meretz called today on Twitter to report to the demonstrations: "The decisions are in the government, the laws are in the Knesset, the change is in the street. Tonight, it is mandatory to show up at demonstrations - in squares, streets, intersections, bridges. The house in Balfour must be vacated. We're at war over the house. A must win! "

The leader of the opposition and chairman of Yesh Atid, Yair Lapid-Telam, came to protest. MK Merav Michaeli of the Labor Party also announced on Twitter that she would join the protest in Jerusalem.

"The State of Israel is in complete chaos because its director is a criminal accused who decided that the management of the state does not interest him - only the management of his trial," the Black Flags movement said. "The economy is collapsing, over a million unemployed and he is busy from morning to evening inciting and destroying the base of Israeli society. The incitement, the results of which we saw in the various attacks last week, will not stop us. The Black Flags movement calls on citizens to not succumb to incitement and intimidation attempts. For bridges and intersections, come to Balfour and the defendant's house in Caesarea, this is the state of the citizens and not the defendant. "

Members of the "Come Israel" initiative said: "We, the young men and women of Israel, will take to the streets tonight to make our voices heard. This country is ours. We love it with all our hearts and intend to demand it back from the people who took it and led us to a sad reality. We are not interested. What interests us is that they abandoned us and robbed us of the right to dream of the future. We are a generation that has completely lost faith in the system and it is time to remind ourselves and everyone - we deserve more. Every Israeli who loves the country "All and come up with us to Balfour. To join us in the war for livelihood, for the future, and for hope. To fight for the lives of us all and the right to dream."

Meanwhile, the MPI opened an investigation against a soldier following a response he posted on Facebook in which he called for firing at demonstrators. The soldier wrote: "Start firing live ammunition. They should be treated as terrorists and even worse. "Three minutes of firing live ammunition - they all disperse, and as a bonus you can get rid of some scum."
