Last update date: 2020-08-02 04:31On July 19, a gang vendetta occurred in Tuen Mun. A 21-year-old man was hit by a car and dragged his body to death. After further investigation, the police arrested three more men and one woman, aged between 18 and 19, in Tsim Sha Tsui and Tsuen Wan the day before (July 31) and yesterday (August 1). They are suspected of "conspiring to hurt someone with intent." The four arrested persons are now being detained for investigation.
On the day of the incident, the police found a private car in Shajiangwei, Tin Shui Wai, suspected to be related to the case. The officers arrested 4 men and 1 woman in the vehicle, aged between 19 and 25, suspected of being involved in the case. The 4 men and 1 woman arrested have been charged with a total of one count of "conspiracy to wound with intent". The case was brought to the Fanling Magistracy on the morning of July 21.
After further investigation, the police arrested a 39-year-old local man in Yuen Long District on the night of July 24 on suspicion of conspiracy to injure someone with intent. As of July 27, the police arrested three local men in Cheung Sha Wan and Yuen Long respectively, aged between 19 and 42, on suspicion of conspiracy to injure people with intent. It is reported that among the arrested, some small gang leaders are included. A total of 13 people have been arrested in the case so far.
