Anger for some. Regrets for others. And a satisfaction at the top of the state. The vote on the bioethics law, on the night of Friday to Saturday, aroused reactions that were at least discordant. Considered at second reading in the National Assembly, this vast reform, which includes the PMA for all, was voted by 60 votes against 37 and 4 abstentions. Emmanuel Macron welcomed on Saturday morning on Twitter "the adoption of a balancing text in a peaceful debate" . For the Head of State and the government, the challenge was to get a text voted as close as possible to its version adopted at first reading. The government had both to face strong opposition against the "fatherless PMA" and face part of its majority eager to take the text further.
