It is recommended that employees with little self-adjustment effect should seek professional and formal counseling. .

Source of stress affected by the epidemic

The survey results also showed that the main sources of stress for respondents were personal health (72.7%), job prospects (65.7%) and the persistence of the epidemic (53.6%). According to the team, the data reflects respondents’ psychological pressure on the epidemic in the past few months. In terms of industry, the tourism industry has the highest degree of pressure (19.07%), followed by the medical industry (17.72%) and the design industry (17%). Among them, the level of pressure faced by people in the tourism industry is even more at the critical point of medium to high levels. The team pointed out that the data reflects that the mental health of the interviewees is affected by the development of the epidemic, thus extending that mental health is closely related to environmental factors.

Employers provide support to reduce employee stress

The survey results also show that newly recruited and low-income employees (less than 10,000) generally have higher levels of stress and anxiety; among many age groups, those over 40 have a tendency to have a higher stress index. The survey results also show that employers have employees who provide emotional support, and their stress and anxiety indexes are significantly low. Therefore, the team recommends that employers provide more appropriate assistance to employees, such as helping new employees to survive the adjustment period through company policies.
