A week before those in Berlin, schools in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are indeed making their “ Schulstart ”, in a context of a slight rebound from the coronavirus pandemic.

According to NDR, the local public service channel, masks are not mandatory in schools for the 153,000 students who resume classes on Monday. The Minister-President of the Land, Manuela Schwesig, however assured that other measures would be taken in the event of new cases.
In France, the start of the school year will be on September 1
In France, after a 2019-2020 year cut due to a health crisis, schools will once again welcome all of their students on Tuesday, September 1, according to the schedule established by the Ministry of National Education.

For all areas, the All Saints holidays will take place from October 17 to November 2, those of Christmas from December 19 to January 4, 2021.
One month of lessons and the pupils of zone A will once again be able to rediscover the joys of sleeping in, for them the February holidays will take place from the 6th to the 22nd of the same month. For zone C, it will be necessary to wait until February 13 (until March 1) and for zone B on the 20th (until March 8). At Easter, Zone A will be on vacation from April 10 to 26, B from April 24 to May 10 and C from April 17 to May 3. Schools will then close their doors on July 6, 2021.
