Two men were arrested Friday, August 31 in Gentilly, in Val-de-Marne, following a major drug and weapons seizure made thanks to the intuition of a security and intervention company , announced the Prefecture of Police on Twitter, confirming information from the Parisian .

Friday, August 31, several civil servants in civilian clothes, who monitored a building bar in the Chaperon-Vert district, spotted two individuals with suspicious behavior in a stationary vehicle. The latter, who enter a building hall, are then discreetly followed by the police.
One of the two men, visibly upset by the presence of strangers on his territory, then attacks the incognito police officers and draws his weapon to dissuade them from going any further. The police decline their quality, forcing the individual to comply and be handcuffed.
Subsequently, the police officers, smelling a strong odor of cannabis emanating from an adjoining apartment, raided two dwellings and arrested an individual trying to prevent them. They thus discovered the pot-aux-roses: 13 kg of cannabis in different forms, nearly 200 g of cocaine, guns, tear gas and € 56,000 in banknotes.
The girlfriend of one of the two in custody was also arrested the same day. The investigation was entrusted to the departmental service of the judicial police of Val-de-Marne.
