Increase cooperation, set priority
In addition, national testing must compete with the rapid spread of the virus. If daily testing is maintained at the level of 10,000 to 20,000, it is easier to be infected after testing and the authorities do not care. At present, many local science and technology enterprises in Hong Kong already have the ability and technology for rapid testing. The authorities and testing support teams should cooperate with these companies or research teams to increase the daily testing volume and as close as possible to the ideal state of national testing.
Under the premise that the national inspection cannot be completed in a short time, the authorities should also deploy inspection plans and strategies early. For example, Liang Zichao, chairman of the Infectious Disease Advisory Committee of the Medical Association, proposed that people with acute respiratory symptoms should be started first, and those who are most likely to be infected and contagious should be identified for isolation and testing, and screening in government outpatient clinics and private hospitals should be expanded. Another example is to follow the current method of ranking the high-risk degree of the industry, or the method of centralized testing in high-risk areas.
After the expansion of testing capacity, in response to the possible sudden increase in the number of confirmed cases, Hong Kong's isolation facilities and medical facilities also need to keep up.
