" Wearing a surgical mask or FFP1 or FFP2, or failing that any other protection provided by other procedures, on condition that it completely covers the nose and mouth is compulsory for people over the age of eleven, in addition to the rule of social distancing ”, we can read in the municipal decree published on the website of the town hall.

"Amplify preventive actions"

" The municipality wishes to amplify preventive actions for its fellow citizens and visitors by requiring the wearing of masks (...) in certain particularly frequented areas ", indicates the town hall of Bonifacio on its Facebook page. This measure will be effective from Wednesday August 5 until August 31, 2020 inclusive, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The areas concerned are those “ experiencing significant pedestrian traffic flows ”, in particular the most touristic quay in the lower town and several streets in the upper town.
