Two men were arrested for possession of a device capable of laser light, Spaner, and spray paint. The two cases were held today (4th). The Eastern Magistracy was presented to the court, and the two did not need to respond temporarily. The case was postponed so that they could obtain legal advice. Both were released on bail during the period.
The defendant Xu Cheng (23), reported that an insurance broker, was charged with possessing a device capable of emitting laser beams at the junction of Queen's Road East and Justice Road in Wanchai on December 24 last year.
The defendant, Huang Junzhao (25 years old), claimed to be engaged in property management and was charged with possession of Spanner and spray paint at the junction of Fleming Road and Harbour Road in Wan Chai on September 28 last year with intent to damage another person's property.
The cases of the two persons were postponed to September 25 and October 6 this year respectively. They were both granted bail of 500 yuan, and had to live at the reported address, and were not allowed to leave Hong Kong during the postponement period.
