The applicant was Tang Yingjie, and the respondent was the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.
Tang was charged with one count of inciting others to split the country and one count of terrorist activity, alleging that he violated the Hong Kong version of the National Security Act in the Gulf on July 1 this year. The case was adjourned to October 6 in the West. The Kowloon Court heard again. He was refused bail when he was in school and is now under custody of the Correctional Services Department.
