Raphael and the American company Raytheon will set up a factory in the United States to manufacture missiles and launchers of the Iron Dome. The production will be managed by a joint company - Raytheon Rafael Area Protection Systems.

The joint company of Raytheon and Raphael will be engaged in the production and marketing of launchers and interceptor missiles of the Tamir type, of the Iron Dome system for the US Army and later possibly other countries as well. Under the partnership agreement, the two companies will also provide their customers with support, integration and logistics services. Initially, services will be provided for two Iron Dome batteries purchased by the U.S. military. Iron Dome missiles and launchers are currently manufactured in the United States in a distributed manner through subcontractors.
