Shows for more than 5,000 people authorized, subject to conditions, from August 15

Cultural gatherings (shows, concerts, etc.) of more than 5,000 people may be authorized, as of August 15, by the prefects while respecting " certain health conditions ", the Ministry of Culture said in a statement on Tuesday August 4.

The distancing of a seat between two people or groups of people is required as well as the wearing of a mask, recalls the ministry, after the publication of a decree at the end of July announcing possible exemptions for all gatherings.

As of September 1, 2020, shows, festivals, concerts, as well as fairs and exhibitions, may be held, without gauge or prefectural authorization. New information on the evolution of health measures will be available around August 24, says the ministry, while the various sectors of the performing arts have continued to alert on the sustainability of their activities, due to the ban large gatherings with the coronavirus crisis.
