Kwai Tsing Assistant Commander (Criminal) Superintendent Lam Chi Yuen said that at about 11 pm on May 25 this year, two men broke the glass of the front entrance of Leong Chik Wai Memorial Middle School, Lok Sin Tong, Cheung Hong Village, Tsing Yi with telescopic sticks. At about 1:00 a.m. on July 24, two more men threw incendiary bombs and gas-oil bombs at the middle school. They put the white electric oil on the front entrance, and then threw the fire to the front entrance from a distance. At that time, the police seized LPG tanks for hot pot and glass bottles of suspected gas bombs that had appeared at the demonstration site outside the school.

About a month later, the police arrested three local men, aged between 16 and 23, for arson, criminal damage and possession of offensive weapons. It is understood that two of the arrested men are students studying at Le Shan Tang Leung Chik Wai Memorial High School, and the other 23-year-old male suspect is a graduate of the school.

After investigation by the police, it was believed that some radicals hoped that the school would respond to the strike, so they committed acts of sabotaging their alma mater and prevented the students from returning to school.

The incident occurred on July 24 this year at Leshan Chik Wai Memorial Middle School, Lok Sin Tong, Changkang Village, Tsing Yi. Flammable objects were thrown at the main entrance of the school. There was an explosion and fire at the scene, and the wall was severely blackened. Police later seized white electric oil cans, beer bottles and small LPG tanks at the scene. Also in May, 8 glass doors of the school were destroyed.
