Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri was recorded today (Wednesday) leaving his home near the port in Beirut, the scene of the blast that shook the Lebanese capital yesterday, killing more than 100 people and injuring 4,000.

Hariri was asked for his opinion on the explosion and its aftermath as he stepped into a vehicle that was waiting for him and said in considerable anger and sorrow that: "They killed Beirut." It is not clear who the former prime minister was referring to, but it is possible that he was referring to the Lebanese government and the terrorist organization Hezbollah, whose political arm holds two portfolios in the government.

The Hariri family home, one of the richest and most influential Sunni families in the country, is not far from the port but is not significantly damaged. The grave of Prime Minister Saad Hariri's father, Rafik Hariri, is also in the vicinity of the blast area.

Meanwhile, dramatic and difficult documentation of the moments of the explosion and its results continues to be published in the Lebanese media. Among the videos posted is Bolt Saron from a security camera at the home of a family living near the port.

The family, a mother and three very young children, are sitting in the living room of the house and looking out the window at the fire in the harbor when the explosion suddenly occurs and throws the window and glass fragments at the occupants. The media in the country did not publish the fate of those seen in the video but it seems clear that they were injured in the incident.

Additional photos have been posted of the destruction caused to the manor facilities in the pizza area and they clearly show that the headland on which the harbor stands has partially collapsed and sank into the water. The nearby grain reservoir was destroyed to the bones and many tons of grain were poured into the crater that was formed.
