School: call for Intercultura 2021 programs now open

(ANSA) - ROME, AUGUST 05 - It is possible to consult the new call for applications for high school students interested in spending a study period abroad in the school year 2021-22 on the Intercultura website www.intercultura.it. The programs of the non-profit association that has been operating in Italy and around the world since 1955 through the AFSIntercultural Programs network are primarily aimed at student students between 1 July 2003 and 31 August 2006 and allow you to attend a local school and live together with a famigliaselezionata. Among the changes, the opening of the programs in Greece (school year) and the activation of the school year and the quarter in the United Kingdom are noteworthy.
    Also for this year, the announcement of competition provides that students who need financial support can take advantage of one of the hundreds of total scholarships made available by Intercultura through their own fund dedicated to this purpose. In addition, hundreds of scholarships will be available from September thanks to the donations of numerous institutions, companies and foundations. Registration for the competition can be made online from the Intercultura website, starting from 1 September until 10 November 2020.
    In the meantime, the Association is working to reschedule the start-ups of the students who have won the competition for the school year 2020-2021 programs. The dates in most cases have been postponed for a few months, but for some countries where the epidemiological situation is better the first departures are already foreseen in August 2020. A wish for the resumption of the new school year and a message of hope permilla of students who are not they want to give up living such an important experience in their training path.
